Covid-19 Update

Dear Patients,

We are entering into another wave of Covid-19 infections, with the omicron variant predominating. This variant is very infectious, and can infect even those who have received three doses of vaccines (although the fully vaccinated will likely be asymptomatic or develop mild illness).

As of now, no rapid Covid-19 antigen tests are available in our office. This is a nationwide problem. While our lab can perform the Covid-19 PCR test when necessary, this must be scheduled following a televisit.

If you have any questions about Covid-19, please email our office at staff@burkemed.net, providing as much detailed information as possible about your symptoms and possible exposure.

Please understand that the front office staff cannot give you medical advice.

Our staff will contact you to schedule a televisit when appropriate, during which testing and treatment options will be discussed.
