Q: Do you offer boosters to patients?
A: Unfortunately, we do not provide any Covid-19 vaccines at the office.
Q: Should I get a second booster?
A: The FDA has authorized second boosters of Pfizer and Moderna for those over the age of 50 at least 4 months after receiving their first booster. Read more.
Q: How do I get a second booster?
A: Your best approach is to make an appointment with a pharmacy.
Q: Which vaccine booster should I get?
A: The pharmacy will ask on its questionnaire which vaccine you would prefer: Pfizer or Moderna. You may take either one, i.e., you can “mix and match.”
Q: How long should I wait to get the booster?
A: You should wait at least 4 months after your first booster. You can consider a Covid-19 infection as a “vaccine” of sorts and wait 4 months after infection.
